PCT Seminar for Paralegals and administrative staff

Due to the great success of the EPC2DAY seminars for paralegals and administrative staff, epi will start with a new round of seminars for paralegals and administrative staff.

We are proud to inform you that a first seminar on “PCT - Seminar for paralegals and administrative staff” has been held in Munich on June 1, 2011.
The seminar was organized in cooperation with WIPO and was held in German.

This seminar looks at the revised Guidelines for Examination in the European Patent Office which will enter into force in June 2012.

Introduction to the EQE

This seminar is a cooperation of epi, the European Patent Academy and CEIPI.
It raises awareness of what is tested in each of the different examination papers and the knowledge and skills candidates need to be successful. The concepts behind the different papers will be explained and a basic understanding of what the examination committees expect in a correct answer will be conveyed.

CEIPI preparation courses for the EQE pre-examination and main examination 2013

"The "Centre d'Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle" (CEIPI) is known for its courses adapted to prepare candidates for the European Qualifying Examination (EQE), increasing their chances of success. Since 2012, the CEIPI has completed its offer by introducing courses preparing candidates for the EQE pre-examination. Please find the complete CEIPI preparation programme for the EQE 2013 here.

FICPI's Academy of Education presents EuroSEAD 2012

The Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Intellectuelle (FICPI) has developed a training course to teach the preparation of patent specifications and claims from an international perspective, with input from tutors from Europe, Australia, the US and Japan (see below for more details).  EuroSEAD has run successfully every year since 1999.  We are pleased to announce that the next course will be held in Hamburg (Germany) from 30 April - 4 May and 1-5 October 2012.
